Now, GVL Targets Telangana Leaders!

Bharatiya Janata Party national official spokesman and Rajya Sabha member G V L Narasimha Rao has become a thorn in the flesh of Telugu Desam Party leaders in Andhra Pradesh led by chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

Not a day passes with GVL coming out with one allegation or the other against the TDP leaders.

On Friday, he fired a fresh salvo against TDP MP C M Ramesh stating that the Income Tax authorities had unearthed Rs 100 crore money laundering scam in the latter’s companies.

So far so good. But now, GVL has started attacking Telangana Congress leaders as well. On Saturday, he came down heavily on Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president Capt N Uttam Kumar Reddy for encouraging scamsters into the party.

“Uttam himself was involved in housing scam in the past. He is not a paragon of virtues,” GVL said.

The BJP spokesperson further alleged that PCC working president A Revanth Reddy had indulged in several land scams and large scale financial irregularities.

“The recent Income tax department raids on his offices and houses have thoroughly exposed Revanth’s illegal financial dealings,” he said.

Quoting a media report, GVK said the IT officials had noted that settlement of land disputes and also grabbing of lands during the course of settlements was the main source of income for Revanth Reddy.

The IT officials, who had seized Rs 1.40 crore in cash from KLSR Infratech Limited’s director K L Sreedhar Reddy, found that the company was a benami firm of Revanth, involved in several sub-contracting works.

“Bogus sub-contracts of the value of Rs 20 crore were found to have been made out from KLSR without supporting documents,” GVL said, quoting the media report.
