These days, political sycophancy has been crossing all its limits. People are going out of their way to please their political bosses obviously to seek favours and unfortunately, the bosses too have been encouraging only such sycophants, ignoring the real and genuine workers.
Take for example, Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. No doubt, he is the most popular chief minister and a fighter who spearheaded the movement for separate Telangana state and finally achieved the statehood.
His Telangana Rashtra Samithi has emerged as the most favourable party for the people and there is no alternative to it at present. And under his leadership, Telangana has emerged as No. 1 state in the country as per the surveys and also the top state in terms of ease of doing business.
That is fine. But that does not mean he deserves every top honours in the country. However, his sycophants do not think that way.
For the last few days, there have been posters in different parts of the city praising KCR’s leadership and stating that KCR deserves Bharat Ratna, the highest civilian award in the country.
The posters are seen mostly near CM’s residence at Begumpet. Needless to say, the sycophants want to get into the good books of KCR so that they would get some political benefits!
