Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister Y Ramakrishnudu on Friday clarified that the government would not hide anything and would maintain transparency in the construction of new capital for the State.
Yanamala told Assembly that the government was not giving any subsidies to Singapore government which was giving plans for the new capital.
“Actually, the Singapore government has promised to give capital city plan free of cost and giving subsidies is not an issue,” he stated.
The finance minister further said that the government has slashed fuel tax to attract more flights to the State.
Ramakrishnudu sought to know why the YCP was opposing Polavaram lift irrigation water to Rayalaseema region.
He also said that the Center will complete the construction of Polavaram project, besides giving Rs 5,000 crore spent for its works so far.
