Pawan Kalyan is preparing to roar at Kakinada meeting on September 9 demanding special status for Andhra Pradesh. He announced this public meeting at his recent Tirupathi Jana Sena meeting.
In the meantime, Union Government of India has come up with a special financial package to Andhra Pradesh that is said to be equal to "Special Status". Central government is expected to announce it in few hours.
On the technical grounds, Center is refusing to give special status to AP. It has now made it clear to Andhra Pradesh government. To compensate, the central government has prepared a special package that provides all the benefits of "special status" but it doesn't bear the same name.
As Union Government has categorically mentioned that there is no room for special status, what would Pawan Kalyan do now? Would he cancel his Kakinada meeting? Or would he continue fighting for it?
