No Takers For Chiranjeevi In Politics?

No Takers For Chiranjeevi In Politics?

Ever since megastar and Congress party’s Rajya Sabha member K Chiranjeevi abstained from attending the prestigious public meeting attended by AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi at Guntur on Sunday, the political circles are agog with speculations that he is bidding adieu to the Congress party.

In fact, Chiranjeevi has been staying away from the Congress party activities for the last one and a half years.

He didn't accompany AP Congress Leaders when they went to Delhi to have a meeting with Rahul Gandhi.

And after his absence from the Guntur meeting, it is more or less confirmed that he might quit the Congress party after the end of his term as Rajya Sabha MP next year.

Though the Congress leaders tried to play down his absence, saying that Chiranjeevi was away in his China tour, there was not even a statement or a twitter message from him on the Rahul Gandhi’s tour.

But, the question is where Chiranjeevi would go after quitting the Congress. He cannot go to the Bharatiya Janata Party, which he had been criticising for quite some time.

He has no interest in joining the YSR Congress party, where he does not want to play a second fiddle to Jaganmohan Reddy.

He cannot join hands with his brother Pawan Kalyan because of fundamental differences with him.

So, the only option for Chiranjeevi is to keep away from politics, because there are virtually no takers for him, at least for now!
