Congress Legislature Party leader K Jana Reddy on Wednesday clarified that there was no rift between him and Telangana Congress Committee president Ponnala Lakshmaiah.
Talking to mediapersons at CLP office here on Wednesday, Jana Reddy said he had no differences at all with Ponnala.
“Of course, we are in regular touch with the TPCC chief”, he maintained.
He also rubbished reports that he was trying to gain upper hand on the party affairs over TPCC chief.
Reacting to media reports in this regard, Jana Reddy asserted no differences existed among his party leaders. He also said he had cancelled the August 4 meeting of the party leaders called earlier.
Jana Reddy’s remarks came at a time when Lakshmaiah said he was not aware of any such meeting.
Ponnala also rebuked that some leaders were trying to gain supremacy which is not possible. He further said actually the program was planned by him and Ponnala Lakshmaiah.
He also opposed the media reports claiming that there was a communication gap that led to a sort of misunderstanding between them.
“We will together work for future programs to strengthen the party”, he averred.
