National Media Vs Pepper Spray

In the last two decades, the total essence of media and its purpose of existence has changed.

Instead of focusing on some realistic issues and changes that need to be brought about, media has been constantly hitting at elements that cause sensation and bring TRP.

At the end of the day, it is all about the business and revenue.

Unfortunately, a similar approach has been taken by the national media whose impact is much larger.

The latest in that list is the pepper spray incident at parliament by Lagadapati Rajagopal. This incident was enough for the entire national media to create a major ruckus and hold massive debates.

But not for once have they focused on the real thing. They have never spoken about the credibility of Telangana bill or its authenticity or why the UPA or Sonia is bent upon thrusting the Telangana state without any rationality.

Leaving the actual issue aside, they are going full on with the pepper spray incident, they are least bothered about the irresponsible T-bill and that’s the sad fact folks!
