The chances of TDP nominating Nandamuri Hari Krishna again for Rajya Sabha look remote as TDP chief and AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu is said to be totally against his brother-in-law.
Either Hari Krishna or his son and popular Tollywood actor Junior NTR are in good term with Babu for the past two-three years.
While Hari Krishna embarrassed Naidu by submitting resignation to Rajya Sabha seat in August 2013 seven months before his tenure was to end to protest the decision of UPA government to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh, his son Junior NTR refused to campaign for TDP in 2014 elections despite repeated requests made by Naidu.
Now, the time has come for Naidu to retaliate. However, the 'clever politician' Naidu is, he found a 'genuine reason' to ditch Harikrishna this time.
It is that, Hari Krishna's brother and noted Tollywood actor Nandamuri Bala Krishna is already a TDP MLA from Hindupur and as per party's policy a second member from the same family should not be given a chance.
However, TDP insiders say, more than Naidu, it's his son Lokesh who is very angry at Hari Krishna and NTR jr, for ditching TDP at the time of cruical 2014 elections by staying away from party activities and campaigning and he strongly opposed giving Rajya Sabha seat to Hari Krishna before his father Naidu.
They said Naidu too agreed with the objections raised by his son and took a firm decision not to send Hari Krishna to Rajya Sabha this time.
