Naidu Suspects BJP-YSRC-JSP Nexus!

Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu suspects that the Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance government at the Centre might grant special category status after entering into an electoral understanding with the YSR Congress party and the Jana Sena Party.

During the teleconference with the party MPs and politburo members on Friday morning, Naidu is learnt to have said the BJP was just waiting for the TDP to get out of the NDA.

“It was BJP which had deliberately instigated the YSRC to move the no-confidence motion and then make its MPs resign. And it was the BJP which instigated Pawan to lash out at the TDP government,” he said.

The TDP chief suspected that the BJP had promised YSRC and JSP that the Centre would grant special category status before the next elections.

The BJP asked YSRC to intensify its agitation and at the same time, it asked Pawan Kalyan to launch an indefinite fast, so that the Centre would come down and make an announcement, he felt.

“It has not responded to our demand, because it does not want to give any mileage to the TDP. Since it has nexus with the YSRC and the JSP, it would make an announcement later so that it would gain control over the state through YSRC and JSP,” Naidu said.
