Naidu Steps Up His Publicity Blitzkrieg

Naidu Steps Up His Publicity Blitzkrieg

With elections to the Andhra Pradesh assembly less than a year away, Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has decided to step up his publicity campaign in a big way.

Known for his media management tactics, Naidu seems to be planning a massive coverage to the party’s annual ritual Mahanadu to be held at Vijayawada from May 27 to 29.

The party is bringing in a large contingent of national media reporters from New Delhi, besides another 40 local and upcountry journalists from Hyderabad to give the maximum coverage to the Mahanadu, which is the last one to be held before the next elections.

Almost all the hotels in Vijayawada have been booked for delegates and journalists from different parts of the state and Delhi.

The party has also brought time slots in the electronic media channels to give live telecast of the Mahanadu.

Since Naidu is expected to unveil a plan of action for the party in the coming days to face the elections, the national media is also curiously watching what his next steps would be with regard to federal front and how he would tackle the BJP in his home state.

At the same time, Naidu wants to ensure that the Mahanadu overshadows the padayatra of YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy and Porata Yatra of Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan.

In the coming days, the TDP president is expected to go on a massive publicity blitzkrieg for his programmes and achievements!
