Naidu Shunting Lokesh To Delhi?

Naidu Shunting Lokesh To Delhi?

It is often said Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu doesn’t believe anybody. Somebody said he doesn’t believe even himself and is scared of his own shadow.

So, there is no wonder he looks at his own family members with suspicion. The latest report is that Naidu asked his son Lokesh to stop interfering in the party affairs in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, but take care of the party affairs in New Delhi.

He already got a residential quarters allotted in 1, Janpath (nine quarters before Congress president Sonia Gandhi’s residence) in New Delhi. And that is now being converted into his camp office.

He asked Lokesh to spend most of his time in the office and establish liaison with the Delhi politicians and officials and work for securing funds and projects to the state.

May be Naidu is apprehensive that if Lokesh is given freedom to take control of party affairs in the state, he would emerge as alternative power centre and might even resort to coup against him one day.

Perhaps, Naidu has recalled his own experience of pulling down his own father-in-law in August 1995!
