Naidu Planning Unusual To Counter Modi?

If the talk doing rounds in a section of media has to be believed, Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu might come out with some unusual and unexpected plan to counter Bharatiya Janata Party in general and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in particular.

It is learnt, Naidu had come to a secret understanding with the major political parties in the country, including the Congress, the Nationalist Congress Party, Trinamul Congress, the Samajwadi Party, the Bahuja Samaj Party and others to work out a plan of action to corner the BJP.

According to this plan, all the Opposition MPs would resign en masse from their seats for different reasons in a bid to mount pressure on Modi to go for early general elections.

In all, over 100 MPs of several Opposition parties would resign en masse to cash in on the prevailing political discord around issues such as Special Category status for Andhra Pradesh, the attempt to impeach the Chief Justice of India, PNB scam, SC/ST Act order. Cauvery accord and others.

By resigning from the MP seats, they would like to create an anti-Modi wave across country.

The en masse resignations would also sought to project opposition unity and work out an anti-Modi alliance.

At present, the only agenda of all these parties is to dethrone Modi, setting aside their individual differences.

“Thus, they want to project an all versus Modi theory before the people. Since the Centre did not allow the Opposition parties to move a no-confidence motion against the NDA government, the Opposition is plotting the mass resignations as another strategy to corner the Prime Minister,” sources said.
