Naidu Obsessed With Gujarat Model

Telugu Desam Party president, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu seems to have developed some sort of obsession with Gujarat, ever since he had forged an alliance with Bharatiya Janata Party and became part of the Narendra Modi-led NDA.

Wherever he is addressing people of various sections, Naidu is taking about Gujarat, which had become a role model for other States. While interacting with a delegation of Indian Merchants Chamber from Mumbai on Tuesday, Naidu reiterated that he would like to develop the coastline of Andhra Pradesh on the lines of Gujarat.

Naidu said that the multiple ports would be developed on the AP coastline by adopting the Gujarat model. He said development small and major ports would promote trade in the State. He said small ports on AP coastline would be more useful from transportation of goods to Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

Well, Naidu might be thinking he too can dream of becoming Prime Minister one day, just like Modi who had risen to the top position riding on the Gujarat model of development.
