Naidu Not To Lobby For Revanth?

Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu might not lobby for the release of his party legislator A Revanth Reddy in the cash-for-vote scam and allow the law to take its own course.

This was the indication given by the party leaders. Naidu is learnt to have come to an understanding to this effect from his Telangana counterpart K Chandrasekhar Rao.

In return, KCR would not press for inclusion of Naidu’s name in the FIR by the ACB in the scam. The phone tapping issue will also subside in the coming days.

Apparently, Naidu was advised by his party leaders from Andhra region not to get involved in the cash-for-vote scam further. They said the case against Revanth would fizzle out on its own as the ACB won’t be able to find enough proofs to nail him.

Even if the ACB manages to establish the case, Revanth has several legal options to wriggle out of it and it would take not less than three to four years to bring it to the logical conclusion, they told Naidu.
