Naidu Mortgaged AP With Singapore!

The Congress on Monday accused Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu of mortgaging the interests of Andhra Pradesh State to Singapore and putting at stake the prestige of the State by prostrating before that country for designing the master plan for the capital and also standing before the Singapore Government with a begging bowl .

Congress spokesman N Tulsi Reddy questioned Chandrababu's wisdom in making efforts to acquire huge tracts of land for the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA).

When Washington DC, the most popular city of the well developed country like the United States, is spread in just 6,422 acres and the whole country of Singapore of which Chandrababu is very fond of is located in only 1,66,725 acres what is the need for the Chief Minister to extend the CRDA to a whopping 1,89,275 acres, Tulsi Reddy asked.

With the huge land the Chief Minister is only trying to enter into a real estate joint venture with Singapore and thus he is always chanting the name of that country.

When there are several experts in the State itself to design the master, why the Chief Minister always showing keen interest to approach Singapore, Tulsi Reddy asked.

"Our country and even our State has the credit of sending a number of satellites into the orbit and the most developed countries are approaching us to borrow our talent. We have even the credit of unfurling our tricolour on the moon. When enough talent is available here, why is he (Chandrababu) knocking at the Singapore's doors for this simple art of designing a master plan to construct buildings, by spending crores of rupees for the transport of the Singapore team to Hyderabad, Rajahmundry," he asked.

In the name of the capital Chandrababu or his binamis only entering into real estate agreements with Singapore cheating the gullible public, Tusli Reddy said.

He is mortgaging the State interests to Singapore. As he is standing before that country with a begging bowl seeking funds and making repeated appeals to them to take part in capital building the whole prestige of the State has gone to the dogs, he thundered.
