Naidu Goes Extra Mile To Please KCR!

Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu seems to be going an extra mile to appease his Telangana counterpart K Chandrasekhar Rao as part of the renewed bonhomie in the recent past.

Naidu, who did not utter a single word against KCR or his government at the GHMC election meeting held at the Nizam College grounds on Tuesday, readily agreed to extend his support to the Telangana State in the reopening of Ballarpur Industries Limited (BILT), previously known as AP Rayons factory owned by TDP MP Garikapati Mohan Rao.

The two Telugu Chief Ministers, who were at loggerheads earlier, are now getting closer to extend support with respect to development which is probably the fallout of Chandi Yagam and Amaravathi capital city foundation program.

This is evident from the AP Government reportedly giving nod to support Telangana government to reopen AP Rayons industry in Warangal district.

KCR on Wednesday sent his emissary Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari to meet Naidu in this regard. Along with another minister A Chandulal, Srihari called on Chandrababu and handed over him a letter written by KCR for the purpose.

In the letter KCR is said to have urged Chandrababu’s cooperation by offering needed pulp for the factory on subsidized price.

As the factory will provide employment to many people and help the cotton industry in a big way on getting back to production, the AP’s cooperation is useful, KCR reportedly said in the letter.

Srihari also urged Chandrababu’s help for the factory and the latter readily agreed to Telangana Government plea, it is learnt.
