Naidu entering new assembly with stolen property!

YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on Monday strongly protested the inauguration of the new building for Andhra Pradesh assembly with “stolen property.”

In a strongly-worded letter to Andhra Pradesh assembly speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao, Jagan compared the 21 MLAs of his party who had defected into the ruling Telugu Desam Party as “stolen property.”

He said everybody was aware how TDP president and chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu had indulged in stealing of the Opposition party MLAs using force and money. And now, he is planning to enter the assembly with this “stolen property.”

“Already, Naidu was caught red-handed while trying to purchase an MLA in Telangana in the infamous cash-for-vote episode. And luring the opposition MLAs is nothing but acquiring stolen property. A thief caught in cash-for-vote case is now entering the assembly with another stolen property. This is nothing but insulting the democracy,” Jagan said.

He alleged that Naidu had shifted his entire administration and the assembly lock-stock-and-barrel to Amaravati in such a hurry only to get out of the cash-for-vote case in Telangana.

He demanded that the sanctity of the new assembly would be established only when the defectors are disqualified. “Set a fresh precedent by sacking them,” Jagan demanded the Speaker.
