Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu doesn't like to see the face of his political rival YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy even for a second; even if it is on a television channel.
The other day, Naidu was reviewing the flood situation with his Cabinet colleagues concerned and senior officials at the Command Control Centre in Vijayawada. Suddenly, he stopped giving instructions and turned serious.
The CMO officials wondered what happened to him suddenly; and within seconds, they could find the reason. There was a television set in front of him which was showing a news channel telecasting the grim flood situation in Guntur and suddenly, it started telecasting Jagan’s programme with students at Eluru where he was attacking the chief minister and central minister M Venkaiah Naidu.
Realising that Naidu went off the mood on seeing Jagan on the television, the officials changed the channel and heaved a sigh of relief as it was showing the flood situation. But within a couple of minutes, Naidu was frowning again; as this channel, too, started telecasting Jagan’s speech live.
Having no other option, the officials switched off the entire TV set, much to the relief of Naidu!
