Mudragada threatens to jump the wall!

Former minister and Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham seems to have reached the threshold limits of his frustration as the police continued to prevent him from going out and resuming his padayatra for the fourth consecutive week.

On Friday, Mudragada lost his cool and shouted at the police for infringing upon his fundamental right of moving freely in the society.

“You have been camping right in front of my house for the last four weeks and not allowing me to go out. This is nothing but denying my fundamental rights. One fine night, I will jump off the wall of my house and take out padayatra without telling anyone. If something happens to me, it is the responsibility of the government,” he told the police.

But, the police authorities politely told him that there is no question of allowing him to take out padayatra without permission, since it might lead to law and order problems.

A helpless Mudragada pleaded with the police with folded hands, asking them to allow him to resume his yatra, but they did not yield to his requests.

As a result, Mudragada squatted on the floor near the gate of his house and said he would take up one-day deeksha there. He held a meeting with Kapu JAC leaders at the same place to discuss the future strategies.
