Mothkupalli Unlucky Again?

Mothkupalli Unlucky Again?

Former minister and firebrand Telugu Desam Party leader Mothkupalli Narasimhulu, who is hoping to become the Governor of any state in the country, might have to face the disappointment once again, if reports from New Delhi are to be believed.

According to sources, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not evinced any interest in the candidature of Mothkupalli in nominating him to the Governor post.

For that matter, there is no strong recommendation from Andhra Pradesh chief minister and TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu either. Naidu is learnt to have proposed Mothkupalli’s name long ago, but did not do any follow-up later.

After the completion of term of former chief minister K Rosaiah as Tamil Nadu Governor on August 31, Mothkupalli is learnt to have taken up with Naidu once again, but the latter did not evince much interest.

In the meantime, former Gujarat chief minister Anandi Ben Patel is said to be seriously lobbying for Tamil Nadu Governor post and Modi has more or less finalised her name, say sources.

So, it is once again a disappointment for Narsimhulu!
