KCR prior to bifurcation had threatened to grab RFC but after becoming the CM, he not only praised Ramoji and his film city, but also called Ramoji as ‘Pride of Telangana’.
Ramoji who did not have a single award to his credit earlier was straightaway honored with ‘Padma Vibhushan’, a move that surprised many.
And recently, many feel that Ramoji was behind ‘Baahubali’ bagging the national award for best feature film.
The movie was shot in RFC and therefore an award to Baahubali would further enhance the prestige of RFC. Otherwise, there has been no precedent where an incomplete movie has been adjudged the best movie.
All in all, these events prove that Ramoji Rao is a man with immense clout at the Centre and CBN does not have even a miniscule of it.
