Municipal Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Narayana is trying his best to get the Municipal Commissioner of Vizag, Pravin Kumar transferred.
Whenever Narayana visits Vizag, Pravin Kumar is not there at the airport to receive him. This has hurt the ego of the Minister badly.
Also, when Narayana recently conducted a meeting in Vijayawada, there was no representation from Vizag Municipal Corporation.
Sources close to Pravin Kumar say that he is extremely busy with targets and post-Hudhud rehabilitation works in Vizag; hence he is finding it extremely difficult to make allowances for even small courtesies such as receiving the Minister at the airport.
The tussle between bureaucrats and politicians is not a new thing. Only remains to be seen who will emerge winner.
