Geetha Arts have signed Maruthi to direct another film under their banner. Maruthi has made Kotha Jantha recently and in spite of getting negative reviews and mixed response from the public, the film fared well at the box-office and turned out to be a profitable venture for the makers.
Addressing the media, Maruthi said that he is happy to direct a film under Geetha Arts banner and informed that Allu Aravind was happy with the final output of Kotha Jantha.
Hero Allu Sirish was all in praise of his PR team headed by Sreenivas Naidu and said that publicity and marketing played a major role in the film's success.
On the other hand, Maruthi's new movie 'Radha' with Victory Venkatesh was shelved for the reasons better known to the makers and the director.
Apart from Kotha Janta, Maruthi has directed Ee Rojullo, Bus Stop and Prema Katha Chitram till date and all the films have fared well at the box-office.
