Madhav under fire for 'impotent' remarks

Bharatiya Janata Party national general secretary Ram Madhav on Friday came under fire from Telangana Rashtra Samithi MLAs for describing them as impotent.

Taking serious exception to Ram Madhav’s comments, the TRS leaders demanded an apology from him before he left Hyderabad for New Delhi.

“It is highly unbecoming of national leader like Ram Madhav, who claims that his party is a custodian of culture and party with difference, to use such a language,” Armur MLA A Jeevan Reddy said.

He said the BJP leaders were losing their patience because their ‘Jana Chaitanya Yatra’ had become utter flop. He pointed out that the TRS leaders had proved their capacity with their successive victories in every bye elections.

“TRS has won every election after 2014. The party won in Medak Lok Sabha after resignation of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao but the BJP has lost the Gorakhpur Lok Sabha seat after the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had resigned,” said Jeevan Reddy.

Jeevan Reddy asked the BJP leaders to prove their capability by winning at least the five Assembly constituencies which they represent in the city. The TRS leader said that the BJP leaders had achieved nothing new with their Yatra.

He further targeted the BJP for not taking any steps to bring black money. He said that the people would answer to the allegations of the people.
