Land Hunt On Between Vijayawada, Guntur

Guntur: Now that the process of bifurcation is complete, the focus is on to finalize the new capital for the Seemandhra region.

As per one version, the land surrounding Nagarjuna Varsity in Mangalagiri has been identified for the purpose of development. However, the Central government is keeping the cards close to its heart.

Meanwhile, Union Minister Panabaka Lakshmi has announced that the Central government has appointed the committee to check the feasibility of developing the new capital city between Vijayawada and Guntur.

Nagarjuna Varsity will be shifted to the Ongole PG Centre as per sources.

The latest remarks of Panabaka Lakshmi have further confirmed the fact that the new capital could be developed around Nagarjuna Varsity. Another important development is that the Centre has already deployed APSP battalion in Palnadu.

While the efforts are on, Seema leaders are demanding that Kurnool be made the capital for Seemandhra. Similarly, the Uttarandhra leaders requesting that a capital has to be identified in their region.
