Even a fellow Kamma like Venkayya Naidu is believed to be shying away from Lagadapati Ragagopal.
Naturally, Lagadapati is disappointed that people who once thrived as politicians on his financial support are now cold shouldering him. His advisers have told them that it is only because he is not active in politics anymore.
A return to politics could mean a return of his respect if not in the eyes of the people, at least with a political party.
