Is Congress party MP K V P Ramachandra Rao getting closer to YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy?
The answer seems to be yes, if one were to read between the lines of his interview given to a television channel.
He is learnt to have said Jagan was like his nephew and he would always have his support. Asked about the CBI cases filed against Jagan, KVP said they were all political cases and baseless allegations.
“At present, the cases are pending in the courts. Till the verdict comes, one cannot call Jagan a culprit,” he said.
KVP went on to say that as far as he knew, Jagan had not gained any benefits from the then YSR government and had not resorted to any corrupt practices.
KVP, who was a bosom friend and advisor of late Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhar Reddy, had been maintaining distance from Jagan for quite some time due to political reasons.
His latest comments have given clear indications that he might get closer to Jagan and there are reports that he might even join the YSR Congress party. After all, nothing is impossible in politics!
