KTR encouraging pub culture in Hyderabad!

Telangana Telugu Desam Party on Saturday accused the Telangana Rashtra Samithi government in general and IT minister K T Rama Rao in particular, of encouraging pub culture in the city in the name of promoting tourism and IT, which was the prime cause of increasing drug menace in the city.

TTDP working president A Revanth Reddy alleged that many pubs running in the city were owned by the close relatives of KTR.

The TRS government gave permission to open 57 pubs in Hyderabad during the last three years.

He said a DJ David whose shows were banned in the neighbouring Bengaluru and Mumbai cities, was given a red carpet welcome and being patronised by the State government here, he said.

The TRS government has been encouraging the pub-culture and the spread of narcotic drug abuses in the State.

Revanth said that an international school in which KCR’s grandson Himanshu was studying was also included in the list of institutions which have been served notices for drug abuse.

KCR and his family members should take the moral responsibility for the growing drugs menace in the city and resign, he added.
