Kiran Making Quick Buck On Last Day?

Kiran Making Quick Buck On Last Day?

Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy was extremely busy signing a number of files on Wednesday, amidst reports that he might step down from the post on Thursday.

After the state assembly got adjourned following the passage of vote-on-account budget, Kiran stayed back in his chambers in the Assembly.

A large number of MLAs made a beeline to his chambers with representations and pending files to get his signatures.

Kiran’s close aides also remained busy bargaining with the MLAs coming to his chambers.

Naturally, this has led to allegations that Kiran sought to make a quick buck on the last day of his stint as the Chief Minister, as he might resign from his post immediately after the adjournment of the Assembly.

According to sources, a record number of GOs are being issued on Wednesday and Seemandhra employees of the Secretariat, who were supposed to be on strike, also worked overtime in issuance of the GOs.
