KCR's Survey Only To Trap Reddy?

KCR's Survey Only To Trap Reddy?

Senior Telangana Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition in the assembly K Jana Reddy has refused to fall into the trap of Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao through the internal survey the latter had conducted over the performance of the MLAs in the state.

KCR’s survey has indicated that of all the Congress MLAs, only two had shown a rise in their popularity graph – K Jana Reddy and Gadwal MLA D K Aruna.

It said Jana Reddy’s popularity has gone up 45.7 per cent to 63.2 per cent in the last two years. This has surprised many, who feel that it could be a ploy of KCR to demoralise the Congress party and trap Jana Reddy into the TRS.

In fact, Jana Reddy has been facing the criticism from his own party leaders and the people of the constituency for his poor show in the assembly and lack of fire in his attack on the TRS government’s failures.

There are hardly any occasions when Jana Reddy took part in the agitations planned by the Telangana Congress. Compared to him, TPCC chief Capt N Uttam Kumar Reddy is struggling a lot, but KCR’s survey is Uttam graph is on the downside.

Jana, however, says he does not believe in such surveys. He said all through his career, he never depended on the surveys, but had faith in the people.

“In the past, too, such surveys indicated that I would lose the elections. It happened six times but I won all my elections,” he said.
