After the pictures and video of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao enjoying a cigarette smoking on the bank of river Krishna in front of AP CM Chandrababu Naidu's residence in Vijayawada on Monday goes viral, those standing near him at the helipad at that time are being hounded by the media to ascertain whether KCR was really smoking or the pictures were morphed.
This is because the TRS party circles dismissed the reports of KCR smoking as 'morphed' saying that KCR had quit smoking long ago.
However, this failed to convince electronic and print media reporters, who were after the leaders who were present at the helipad and standing near to KCR at that time to find out whether KCR was really smoking or not.
AP finance minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu received hundreds of calls from journalists on Monday, though he left them unanswered, since the photos show a smoking KCR talking to Yanamala.
The other leaders who received maximum calls from journalists include AP minister Ravela Kishore, Telangana minister Etela Rajender and TRS MP Balka Suman, who were present there at that time.
However, none of them received the calls on Monday anticipating KCR smoking queries from reporters on Monday.
The leaders who started taking calls on Tuesday from the media spoke to them on a condition that they will answer anything except questions on KCR's smoking.
Some leaders even remarked that "KCR's smoking is a top secret" and it should not be discussed publicly.
However, their remarks only added credence to the reports that KCR had actually smoked because they would have denied that straightaway instead of maintaining it as a 'top secret'.
