Of late, it has become a common sight that Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has been frequently visiting Raj Bhavan to meet Governor E S L Narasimhan for hours together.
Naturally it has raised curiosity among the people and suspicion among the Opposition parties. Never in the past did any chief minister meet the Governor so frequently, as they used to happen only at the time of rituals like Independence Day and Republic Day, besides during the cabinet expansion or when the government wanted to introduce special bills or ordinances.
“But now, KCR is meeting the Governor almost every week irrespective of whether there is any issue or not. What is the secret behind it?” asked former Congress MP Ponnam Prabhakar.
He said people were speculating that the Chief Minister was meeting the Governor to discuss on black money.
Stating that the Chief Minister’s meeting with Governor was not a private one and the Chief Minister has responsibility of revealing the facts of meeting. The Chief Minister has to make public the secret meetings agenda to the people, he said.
