KCR Wants Global Recognition For His Farm House?

It looks like Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao wants to get global recognition to his farm house at Erravelli in Medak by choosing it as a venue for performing Chandi Yagam.

KCR initially thought of conducting the Yagam in Hyderabad to attract national and international leaders. But later, he changed his mind and shifted the venue to his farm house.

By inviting top leaders like President Pranab Mukherjee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Ministers of other States, he apparently wants to ensure that his farm gets global recognition.

At the same time, he also wants to showcase the modern methods he is adopting to get maximum agriculture produce at the farm house.

However, the Opposition parties are of the view that the performance of Chandi Yagam at the farm house would get KCR negative publicity, as farmers in Telangana are going through a bad phase.

TDP national vice-president P Ramulu has alleged that KCR was ignoring the people’s burning problems and was performing “Chandi Yagam” near his farm house.

The TDP leader alleged that the KCR government remained inactive even though the entire State was reeling under drought conditions and some 1,800 farmers committed suicides so far.

“KCR was giving importance to his political gain and forced by-election to Warangal Lok Sabha seat”, Ramulu alleged.
