KCR to set his feet on Andhra, Naidu meets KCR for 1-hour!

It's official now. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is putting his foot on residuary Andhra Pradesh soil for the first time on October 22, Dasara to take part in foundation laying ceremony of AP's new capital Amaravati.

AP CM Chandrababu Naidu today met KCR at his camp office in Begumpet at 6.30 pm and extended invitation for Amaravati ceremony.

To this, KCR responded positively and confirmed his participation by promising that he would definitely attend the event.

Naidu drove straight to KCR's camp office from the Begumpet airport. He was inside the camp office for an hour.

Both met after a gap of nearly eight months and their meeting attracted national attention in the wake of strained relations between the two over cash-for-vote case and telephone tapping charges.

Soon after Naidu arrived at the camp office, KCR, his son KTR and few other ministers welcomed Naidu with flower bouquets and took him inside the house.

Naidu gave invitation card and Tirupati laddu to KCR besides honouring him with a shawl.

KCR told Naidu that he has to fulfill the 'mokku' (vow) of Bejawada Kanakadurga Devi on achieving Telangana State he had taken earlier, he would visit the temple simultaneously and also visit Amaravati.

He told Naidu that he would launch 2BHK Houses for poor scheme in Suryapet in Nalgonda on October 22 and come to Amaravati from there directly.

Naidu offered to arrange an helicopter for KCR from Suryapet , but he refused saying that travelling by road is easier than helicopter from Suryapet.

KCR also offered dinner to Naidu at his house saying that his wife cooks well. But Naidu told him that he would visit next time to have dinner due to time constraint now.

After spending nealry an hour with KCR, Mr Naidu left to Rajbhavan to invite Governor ESL Narasimhan for Amaravati.
