KCR To Kick-Start Poll Campaign From Sept 7

It is now more or less certain now that Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is going to dissolve the assembly on September 6, as a series of swift political developments on Tuesday indicate.

Telangana government’s chief secretary S K Joshi, principal secretary P Narsing Rao, advisor Rajiv Sharma, assembly secretary Narasimhacharyulu and chief electoral officer Rajat Kumar met Governor E S L Narasimhan in the afternoon to discuss some “important matters.”

Later, they left to the farm house of KCR at Gajwel for further discussions with the chief minister.

The TRS chief is going to address yet another massive public meeting at Husnabad in Siddipet district on September 7.

It has been named as “Praja Deevena Sabha” wherein KCR will seek the blessings of the people to rule the state for a second successive term.

Irrigation minister T Harish Rao, who represents Siddipet assembly constituency, along with local MLA V Satish visited Husnabad on Tuesday and identified the land adjacent to bus stand to hold the public meeting with nearly 65,000 people.

The minister performed “bhumi puja” at the meeting venue to make arrangements for the public meeting.

KCR will perform special prayers at Lord Venkateshwara temple at Konayipalle village of Nangunuru mandal in Siddipet on September 7 morning before launching the election campaign at Husnabad public meeting.

KCR is sentimentally attached to the temple and all his election campaigns begin only after conducting prayers at this temple.

So, the election heat picks up in Telangana!
