It looks like the bonhomie between Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and his Andhra Pradesh counterpart N Chandrababu Naidu is going to continue for long. Both of them are now comfortable in each other’s presence.
On Tuesday, Naidu and KCR once again got the occasion to meet at Raj Bhavan, where Governor E S L Narasimhan had hosted at home in the honour of President Pranab Mukherjee.
Both the Chief Ministers arrived well in advance, greeted each other and shook hands, much to the relief of the guests.
The Governor greeted them and held a meeting with them exclusively before the arrival of the President. This is the second meeting of the two Chief Ministers within 48 hours.
It may be recalled that Naidu and KCR had not seen eye to eye for long, especially after the infamous cash for vote scam.
The animosity between the two was so intense that they had even stayed away from the At Home get-together hosted by the Governor on the occasion of Independence Day and also the lunch hosted by President Pranab Mukherjee at Rashtrapathi Nilayam during his last visit.
They avoided all the occasions, where they had a chance to meet, including the Niti Ayog meeting in Delhi. Now that both of them have become thick friends again, everything seems to be alright now.
