KCR Fields Disciples Against Guru!

KCR Fields Disciples Against Guru!

Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has not been making any comments against Telangana Joint Action Committee chairman Prof M Kodandaram, who was once his protégé despite the fact that the latter was going hammer and tongs against the TRS government of late.

Instead, the TRS president seems to have entrusted the responsibility of launching a counter-attack against Kodandaram to his own students of Osmania University in the past.

For example, TRS MP from Peddapalli Balka Suman was once a student of OU under the tutorship of Kodandaram. He was leading the Telangana Vidyarthi Vedika, which was working in association with the TJAC during the peak of Telangana movement.

Now, Suman has been fielded to take on Kodandaram, who has been waging a war against the KCR government on various issues of public concern, especially land acquisition, farmers’ suicides and fee reimbursement so on. On Monday, Suman came  down heavily on  Kodandaram for daring to criticise KCR.

“He has done nothing for the Telangana movement, except coming to the TRS tents and giving speeches. He is trying to pull down the KCR government. In the past, too, he made a similar attempt. All his interest is to bring the Congress to power. If he does not mend his ways, we shall teach him a fitting lesson,” Suman said.

Another student of Kodandaram in OU in the past, Pidamarthi Ravi, is also attacking Kodandaram for taking up cudgels against the KCR government.

“The TJAC is a spent force. And Kodandaram is trying to resurrect the Congress through a defunct TJAC,” he said.
