KCR Becomes T-Congress Envy

The Wednesday’s Cabinet meeting held by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao, which had taken several landmark decisions benefiting a cross section of people has created a heartburn of sorts in the Telangana Congress camp.

The Telangana Congress leaders sought to downplay the decisions taken by the KCR government, saying that there was nothing new in the cabinet meeting.

Former minister T Jeevan Reddy alleged that the TRS Government lacked clarity on the implementation of promises that it made with the people.

Jeevan Reddy said though some of the decisions taken by the KCR Cabinet were good, the government still needs to clarify on how it would implement those decisions and how the revenue would be mobilised.

He said that the government must prioritise the implementation on farm loan waiver scheme. He said that the farmers were unable to get fresh loans due to previous dues which the TRS Government has agreed to waive off.
