To the egomaniacal KCR, this might come as a bit of a shock. Deputy CM of Telangana Kadiam Srihari called on Chandrababu Naidu at the latter’s office in Hyderabad.
The Telangana government was planning to revive ‘India Rayons factory’ in Warangal District. It was one of the election promises made by it.
For this to happen, the supply of raw material would primarily have to come from AP. Over 70% of the pulp has to be supplied by AP. Hence Kadiam drove down to Naidu’s office requesting the latter for assistance.
Interestingly, Kadiam was part of the TDP before he was lured to the TRS. Whether he visited Naidu with KCR’s blessings or not is yet to be ascertained.
Nevertheless, it is amusing to see a Telangana Minister put aside his ego for the sake of the people’s welfare and talk to the Andhra leadership. But if he has not taken KCR’s permission, then he better watch out for some trouble.
