The election campaign of Nandamuri Suhasini, granddaughter of legendary actor and former chief minister N T Rama Rao and Telugu Desam Party candidate from Kukatpally constituency has entered the final phase.
Almost all the TDP leaders, besides her family members– including uncle Nandamuri Balakrishna and TDP president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu is launched extensive campaign for her in the last one week.
Suhasini herself has been moving into lanes and bylanes to personally seek votes from the residents of various colonies in Kukatpally.
But so far, there has not been a word from her brothers Junior NTR and Kalyanram. Both of them wished Suhasini all the best and extended their support to her through a public statement as well as social media.
Though Suhasini reportedly requested her brothers to bail her out, there was no response from her so far. Their names have not been submitted to the Election Commission as part of the mandatory campaigners’ list.
As of now, Junior NTR is said to be busy with his shooting for S S Rajamouli’s film.
“If time permits, he will dedicate an hour or two for Suhasini on Wednesday, the last day of the campaign. Otherwise, he might make another appeal to his fans and people through social media. That’s all,” a TDP source said.
