Jana Reddy's endorsement of the 'Mission Kakatiya' scheme has put the Congress in a spot of bother and further aggravated his ties with the Grand Old Party.
‘Mission Kakatiya’, many feel is an excellent scheme that should have been undertaken a long time ago. However, an equal majority opine that it is only a front for indulging in corruption on a massive scale and genuine welfare at best will be minimal.
“It is natural for the government to defend and the opposition to attack. But when the leader of the opposition himself acknowledges the policies of the ruling Party, it sends a message to the public that the government is doing a good job. So, what is the need for the opposition then?” questioned one Congress MLA.
It is true that Jana Reddy has been sulking ever since he was denied the post of PCC President. So, is his praise genuine or merely to get back at his Party?
