Jeetender Reddy who has won as the Mahboobnagar MP on the TRS ticket has made some nasty comments about union minister Jaipal Reddy.
In retaliation, Jaipal Reddy’s brother Padma Reddy reminded Jeetender Reddy that he has won with a mere 2590 vote majority and warned him that he should refrain from making such cheap comments.
Incidentally, Jeetender Reddy had called Jaipal Reddy the worst Parliamentarian. Padma Reddy said that it was not appropriate to comment on a senior leader and good Parliamentarian. He said that Jeetender Reddy must remember that he had lost in the past from Chevella.
In fact, Jaipal Reddy was not keen on contesting, but the party High Command insisted that he contest the polls, revealed Padma Reddy.
He clarified that the High Command had felt that if he did not contest the polls, it would send out wrong signals. So, Jaipal Reddy had to abide by the High Command’s directive, he said.
