Jagan's Tour Will Tilt Balance In Nandyal!

YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy’s proposed tour in Nandyal on August 3 to kick-start the party’s election campaign for the ensuing by-elections, is all set to change the fortunes of the party and tilt the scales in its favour.

This is the opinion being expressed by the political observers in Andhra Pradesh.

According to them, the contest is evenly poised in Nandya, with both the YSRC and the Telugu Desam Party having equal chances of winning the by-elections.

“However, Jagan is going to make all out efforts to win the seat. His public meeting at Nandyal on August 3 is going to be a turning point in the contest and the advantage will go to his party,” an analyst said.

It is learnt the YSRC president has decided to move all his forces to Nandyal after August 3.

Even his media house Sakshi is deputing several teams of reporters and camera persons to every nook and corner of Nandyal to create a positive impact on the people towards the party.

For the next couple of weeks, the YSRC will be visible in every lane and bylane of Nandyal, sources said.

YSRCP candidate for Nandyal seat Shilpa Mohan Reddy is very confident of achieving victory in the by-elections.

“Jagan’s charisma, party cadre and the support of the people will lead to the Nandyal win. He is aware of the constinuency backdrop as he participated in the development in Nandyal during Congress regime,” he said.

He also alleged that the TDP government is indulging in the misuse of official machinery and giving contracts to local leaders in order to garner votes.

The party leader further said that the TDP had expected YSRCP won't field any candidate and win Nandyal constituency without any opposition but they are going to be proved wrong.
