Jagan Walks In Sand, Over Mountains To Meet Sufferers

With Hud Hud receding and life slowly returning to normalcy, a variety of stories have been appearing in media.

While some stories claim that Andhra Pradesh CM has been working day and night to deal with the cyclone-affected loss in Uttarandhra, there are other stories which say that opposition leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been walking in the cyclone-affected areas over sand and hillocks.

Incidentally, as a part of his tour of Uttarandhra, Jagan happened to walk in sand while visiting the Peda Jalaripeta village. Similarly, in China Gadili and in Peda Gadili, he walked over hillocks.

According to the story, Jagan had gone personally to see the plight of people who were devastated by Hud Hud and those who lost their boats, nets and houses.

He even took time to talk to the women who make a living by selling dried fish. The story also says that Jagan visited every house and spoke to every person and enquired after their loss. It is also being said that Jagan walked for about 2 km along the coastline.

In the evening, Jagan walked over hillocks in Peda Gadili and China Gadili to meet people. He also went to houses on slopes and hillocks to meet people there and personally see their plight, says the report.

It is said that the sufferers told him that no official turned up to see their plight and that no aid measures were given to them.
