Jagan Vows To Reform Administration

While having a personal touch with the electorate, YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy is also understanding the nuances of administration during his marathon padayatra.

So, he is able to design new schemes and new strategies in tune with the experiences he is gaining from the padayatra.

On Wednesday, Jagan while addressing a massive rally of Muslims in Visakhapatnam, promised to bring about major reforms in administration.

“If we are voted to power, we shall bring in more transparency in administration by taking up major reforms. It is going to be a decentralized administration which will be taken to the doorsteps of the people in the villages,” he said.

He said his party if voted to power would establish Village Secretariats which instantly provided employment to 10 persons from each village and all the social security documents would be provided without any delay and the process would be done over and above party affiliations.

He also announced complete change in the style of functioning of SC, ST, BC and Minorities’ Welfare Corporations would be changed enabling the deserving candidates to get loans and pensions.

”The Corporations of all weaker sections and Minorities would be shaken up and its efficiency would be strengthened to enable the deserving people to get pensions and other benefits once they cross 45 years of age. They would ensure that the beneficiaries would be getting Rs 75,000 in four years under the YSR Cheyutha Scheme,” he said.

He alleged that Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu had failed to keep up his promises to minorities mentioned in the election manifesto.

He reminded that it was YSR who was the real saviour of Muslims who had given 4 per cent reservations, besides waiving their loans and taking care of their education.
