Andhra Pradesh Minister for Medical and Health Kamineni Srinivas on Wednesday accused the main Opposition YSR Congress and the Congress of trying to bring in a split in the BJP-TDP alliance.
Talking to media, the Minister felt that both these Opposition parties, in the guise of special status, are only trying to bring in a divide between the BJP and the TDP and making efforts to widen the gap.
"The conspiracies of such parties will not work and we will continue to sail together," he added.
Admitting that the State is reeling under severe crisis as the special status is not accorded to the State, he said that the blame of the State not getting the status goes only to Congress president Sonia Gandhi and its vice president Rahul Gandhi. The Minister, however, did not elaborate.
Kamineni Srinivas is confident that the NDA Government, after realising the problems being faced by Andhra Pradesh will certainly concede the demand.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu had already spoken to the Central leaders on the matter and they responded positively, he said.
