Jagan Says No To Anam Brothers?

Jagan Says No To Anam Brothers?

If the reports from YSR Congress party are to be believed, party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy is learnt to have said no to the overtures of Anam brothers – Anam Ramanarayana Reddy and Anam Vivekananda Reddy to join his party.

The brothers, who were said to be terribly upset with the neglect by Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu, reportedly sent feelers to Jagan saying they were ready to join the party.

However, Jagan refused to entertain their requests, as their entry would disturb the existing party structure in Nellore.

If they join, Jagan will have to field them in their respective assembly constituencies – Nellore and Atmakur.

It results in heartburn among the leaders of YSRC who have been working hard in these constituencies hoping to get the seats. As such, Jagan does not want any disturbance in the party.

This has left no option for the Anam brothers to stay back in the TDP. Apparently, Naidu also assured Ramnarayan Reddy not to take any hasty decision and that he would give him the TDP ticket from Atmakur or Venkatagiri, whichever seat he wanted.

However, anything might happen in politics.

“Who knows Jagan might also change his mind and give a chance to Ramnarayan Reddy, who was once closer to his father Y S Rajasekhar Reddy,” party sources said.
