Injustice to Andhra: Who's A-1 and A-2?

Injustice to Andhra: Who's A-1 and A-2?

The blame game between Bharatiya Janata Party and Telugu Desam Party over injustice meted out to Andhra Pradesh has made one thing clear to the people: both are culprits in this regard.

While TDP president and chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu said the Centre has not fulfilled even a single promise made in AP Reorganisation Act including special category status, BJP president Amit Shah wrote a letter explaining how the Centre had released huge funds to the state.

“It is very clear that both Naidu and Shah are culprits. Only thing to finalise is who accused no. 1 (A-1) is and who the accused no. 2 (A-2) is. Both of them have cheated five crore people of the state,” YSR Congress party spokesman K Parthasarathy said.

On the other hand, Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan said the letter written by Amit Shah had no relevance.

“One can understand if the NDA government has written to the state explaining the facts. But Shah, being a party president, has no locus standi,” Pawan said.

Stating that Shah had blamed Naidu of expressing satisfaction over special package announced by the Centre and now taking a completely opposite direction, Pawan also blamed the state government for not submitting proper Utility Certificates (UCs).

He said that while BJP didn’t fulfil the promise, it is now instead involved in an exchange of letters shifting blame on each other.

He said the BJP fooled the people of after promising Special Category Status which was made clear in its joint manifesto with Telugu Desam Party (TDP).
