If Revanth is Nadendla, what is Babu?

Telangana Telugu Desam Party president L Ramana’s comparison of Kodangal MLA A Revanth Reddy with former chief minister Nadendla Bhaskar Rao has drawn a lot of criticism in the social media.

Ramana called Revanth as an opportunist, who had stabbed party president N Chandrababu Naidu in the back.

"He has been in touch with the Congress high command including Rahul Gandhi for the last six months and has been conspiring to wind up the Telangana TDP.

He is like former chief minister Nadendla Bhaskar Rao, who had staged a coup against TDP founder president N T Rama Rao and usurped power with help of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in 1984.

Nadendla became the chief minister, but had to step down within a month due to lack of support from the people and the party leaders. Revanth, too, will not survive in the Congress for long,” he said.

He said TDP would return to power in 2019 elections by contesting all the 119 seats. “And Revanth will end up nowhere,” Ramana predicted.

Netizens wonder what Naidu would be called, if Revanth is Nadendla Bhaskar Rao. Naidu gave a stronger blow to NTR, compared to Nadendla, for the sake of power. Yet, he was able to come to power twice later.

And secondly, Revanth is not fighting against Naidu in Telangana, but against Telangana Rashtra Samthi. Why is it causing pain to Ramana?

In any case, the TDP has no chance of coming to power, even if aligns with the Telangana Rashtra Samithi. So, where is the question of Revanth turning a back-stabber?

He just left the party like any other disgruntled leader, say netizens.
