Hyderabad brand spoiled by Congress!

Minister for IT and Panchayat Raj K Tarakarama Rao on Saturday pooh-poohed the criticism by former Union minister S Jaipal Reddy that the TRS government had spoiled the brand image of Hyderabad by taking controversial decisions and making provocative statements.

Reacting to Jaipal’s comments, KTR said it was the Congress party which had brought disrepute to Hyderabad and was responsible for the present problems being faced by the people of Telangana.

He said that Hyderabad's brand image was affected due to inclusion of names of TPCC Chief Ponnala Lakshmaiah, former ministers and some IAS officials in the chargesheet for the irregularities they indulged in during Congress rule. He questioned as to whether the brand image of Hyderabad was not damaged then.

He challenged Jaipal Reddy to prove with evidence how the Hyderabad image was damaged in 100 days of the TRS government rule.

He claimed that the TRS government was ensuring corruption-free administration to the people in the state. It was unfortunate that senior Congress leaders like Jaipal Reddy were deliberately making baseless allegations against TRS government.
